First time on these forums, so sorry for being a noob!
My PC started to have problems afew months ago, it would stop turning on randomly, and would turn on for a second then switch off, eventually it would boot itself and when it was on, it would stay on and work fine.
The problem turned out to be the PSU (paperclip test showed not working etc) So yesterday I bought a new PSU and installed it, but it didnt work and just made a clicking noise when I tried to turn it on, which I assume is the machine shorting itself out.
After unplugging other stuff e.g gfx card / hard drive i managed to get it to do something different. When the ATX12V is unplugged it will boot for 2 seconds before restarting itself.
I am not sure what to do next to test what the problem is so any suggestions will be helpful! Later on today after work I will rebuild the entire PC to hopefully check anything else but any other help will be great, thanks!
