Approximate Purchase Date: As soon as possible. Has to be before September 2

Budget Range: $700 or less is what i'd like to be at. I could stretch a little further if its truly worth the upgrade but please try and keep it near $700

System Usage from Most to Least Important: School, Multiwindow/Multitasking, documents, game design, gaming.

Are you buying a monitor: No, the monitor does not need to be included in the $700

Parts to Upgrade: ALL

Do you need to buy OS: Nope

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Microcenter, Newegg, Tiger direct, Amazon.

Location: City, State/Region, Country. USA MD

Parts Preferences: by brand or type: Always had AMD not opposed to going intel. Whats the benefit of either?

Overclocking: Can if needed

SLI or Crossfire: Down the road maybe? Not needed but a good bonus.

Your Monitor Resolution:

Additional Comments: Like to have a "bad" looking computer. Have a 6k+ gaming PC right now that runs like an angel. Don't want a slow computer. I have built computers and won't have a problem installing anything. Throw whatever you'd like at me I can take it :p

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Need a separate computer for school. Get to distracted on my gaming rig :p. Also need them in different rooms.

This look very nice :) just have a question about it. Why intel vs AMD? in a budget build i was always under the impression AMD was better. Is this not always the case?
