Ok, check all these things first and after that come back and let me know what you found. I'm guessing right off the bat that you might have forgotten to connect the processor 4 or 8 pin power connector that plugs in next to the processor but check this list first and then let me know. There are two power plugs that connect to the motherboard, in case you missed that.

Did all that. When i hold the power button on the motherboard/or the chassi for like 5 secs, a blue led starts blinking just above the motherboard battery. So I know the chassi also gets power but nothing will start up. ;c

And you have the cpu 8 pin connector plugged into the board next to the processor as well as the 24 pin by the edge? And are you sure you've got the system connectors on right that come from the front panel power button and reset? For sure? Heh. It's very easy to make a mistake with the tiny system pins.

the 8 and 24 pins are in, the im sure the small connectosr are done right since I did it twice. The chassi GETS power but doesnt power on ;c Really dont know what the blue blinking led is for :/

Blue blinking light is supposed to be BIOS in operation, BIOS A.

What do you mean you don't know if the power supply fan starts? Can't you see it or hear it? Take a look and let me know. Also, if the case fans and cpu fan are running. This thing might be running and you just have a display problem.

Also, make sure the RAM modules are not installed in side by side slots. They need to be in slot 1 and 3, slot 1 being closest to the CPU. Or if only using 1 module, for testing, in slot 1. I would recommend you try that and if it doesn't work with one module, swap it out for the other one.

You do have the case fans and cpu fan connected to the motherboard right? I know, a stupid question but I have to make sure.

It's sounding a lot like a motherboard issue but let's see what happens with the RAM.

Try pressing the Motherboard power button on the top right.

Can't tell if that's sarcasm or not. But with my Asus board I has the same problem as he described, I hit the motherboard power button and everything has been fine

It wasn't sarcasm. Literally, it would be helpful to hit the motherboard power or reset buttons located on the motherboard itself.

Should have thought of that to start with but it's not the first thing you think of on a motherboard is there being any functional buttons on it.

It's not what you want to hear, but rebuild the whole pc and recheck every detail.Maybe even do a clear cmos.
You could even try the components outside the case first to see if they work there to rule a short circuit out.

Hmm. Kinda goes with what Vic 40 is saying, but make absolutely certain the 24 pin ATX and 8 pin cpu connectors are all the way down on the board. I've had these connectors look for all the world like they were in all the way before and then pulled them off and clipped them back in and BAM, good to go. It's worth trying at least after you try the RAM. Also, try the RAM individually in each slot. Could be a bad slot too.

Thanks everybody, really concidering to rebuild everything again :/ . I did putting the 24 and 8 pin connector again, nothing. Tried both rams seperatly, nothing ;C

No,600watts are more than enough. The cx series is not their best but should be good enough.
What you could try is ruling it out by trying with a psu from another system, maybe from a friend or ...

Thanks I rebuilt it and I see the pc wont start because when I plug the molex cabel in. What does it do, and it goes from the chassi it self. I got a 6 pin connector from the powersupply and to a 4 pin fan connector on the motherboard, and the one from the chassi goes right in there.

it's probaby from the built in fancontroller.

You really lost me here,6pin to 4pin to .... what?

The molex from the chassis goes into one from the psu.
A 6pin to 4pin?

August 18, 2014 8:04:46 AM

I mean, the molex from chassi needs something to put into, so there is one cable that goes into the powersupply with a 6 pin connector. The other end is to the motherboard.

and when I just plug the power supply pins in, it starts but no case fan starts

Like i said, attach this directly to one matching from the psu.

This one is probably for the gpu=pcie connector.
What goes to the motherboard? How many pins?

Read again,

You don't connect a 6pin to a fan connector.
What do you mean by a "fan connector"?

Nothing from the psu should go directly to a fan connector!

Actually, that's not true. On occasion some builds or builders I should say, they do install fans and/or pumps with their connectors plugged directly to the PSU without going through the board so they will have full unregulated voltage. It's quite common in fact and is the reason the sell adapters for doing so. I realize that was not the case in this situation and glad you solved the OP issue. Cheers to Vic 40 and the OP.

This still means no cables from the psu go directly onto the motherboard, they connect directly to the pump or fan, that's different.
The o.p. is talking about a fanconnector/header on the motherboard, not on a fan.

Oh crap. Yeah, PSU definitely doesn't connect to the fan headers. Heh. Sorry, I misunderstood that part.
