8-pin EATX12V or 4-pin What should i plug i to

I have a mother board at have both of 8-pin EATX12V and 4-pin. Which one should i go for?? It is asus ramage iv black edition

8-pin will make more power available than a 4-pin. Absent any other guidance on your CPU documentation, I'd go for the 8-pin connector. Having more power available does not incur a risk of damage, if that is your concern.

4-pin connectors supply 75 W, 8-pin connectors can supply 150 W. Sorry, that is for GPU connectors. I don't offhand recall how much the CPU connectors supply and I'm too lazy to Google ATM. :)

if you have a Core i7 CPU connect the 8 pin

If you're overclocking then you should connect both the 4 pin and 8 pin connectors. If not you should be fine with just the 8 pin.
