I currently own this system but the temps at a thermal test of small ftts gives temperature of 90c instantly and temps while gaming are max 65c with titles like bf4 crysis 3 etc

Processor - INTEL i7 4790k devils canyon(haswell refresh) @ 4.6ghz on 1.26v
Motherboard- ASUS REPUBLIC OF GAMERS MAXIMUS VII HERO
RAM- G.SKILL RIPJAWSX 2x4GB 2133mhz
Cooler- corsair h80i liquid cooler with noctua nt-h1
Graphic card- SAPPHIRE R9 280x VAPOX 3gb
PSU- COOLER MASTER silent pro M 850w
CABINET- corsair air 540 HIGH AIRFLOW (with 3x CM jetflows and 2x CORSAIR AF140)
Lighting- NZXT HUE RGB Controller
Fan controller- NZXT GRID fan controller
Harddisk- WD caviar green 500Gb

Moreover the cooler is one of the best but still temp is very high ambient temps are 30-35c at my place

I have proper cable management and tried remounting cooler used drop method to apply paste

sometimes your temp sensors misread the temprature try coretemp and hw monitor sometimes one will work correctly and the other won't btw even if you have mounted the cooler badly and used way to much or no thermal paste a temp like that shouldn't occur
