need help with my pc performance

Hi I just recently bought a new pc it has a apu 6400k processor 6gb ram and a gtx 620 gpu . I recently upgraded my gpu to a gtx 660 twin frozr oc but the games still seem to run slow I also upgraded the power supply to a 750w . Is the cpu bottle necking the gpu . Also my cpu seem to be running at 100% all the time . If it is the cpu can anybody tell me what cpu would run better with the graphics card .Thanks

Thanks guys really appreciate the help ill go for the 760k . Will this run on my apu 6400k motherboard ? Sorry I cant tell you what motherboard it is because im not in the house atm lol

It should because they are both Socket FM2. Your motherboard might need a BIOS update but you can do that before you take the old processor out.

If you want a 100% guarantee, have a look when you get home and tell us what motherboard you have.
