Hello,

When I use google to do video calling the picture is very grainy and not particularly clear. I am running a AMD A6 5400K APU. Would you happen to know if adding a video card will improve the quality of the picture?

The quality of the picture can be affected by a number of factors. Is the image quality always grainy and unclear no-matter who you call?

I'm trying to ascertain whethere it's the other person's webcam that's just like that, or if the issue is common to many different video-calling partners.

That's interesting. I never thought about it being an issue with the other person's camera. I have only been video calling with one other individual. I am using a separate descent quality webcam. They are using the webcam built into their monitor. It may very well by their camera. Thanks for your help. I will try that.
