Gigabyte GA-Z97X-GAMING 7 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard has an onboard USB 3.0 header, but the Cooler Master HAF 912 ATX Mid Tower Case does not have front panel USB 3.0 ports...

- is this a major issue ? should i change the cabinet or is it ok to with cooler master HAF12 ?

If you want front USB3.0, try another case, for example, NZXT H440. If you dont want to change the case, just use the USB3.0 ports at the I/O
