Hello.
I've recently installed 32 bit Windows 7 on my Vista Lenovo laptop, 2 GB RAM, 2 GHz dual core processor. It currently works very sluggishly, especially with regards to internet media, making surfing unbearable. I've tried to update my drivers and to reinstall Windows, which solved other previous problems, such as the computer shutting down to a blue screen, but this problem persists.
I'd be grateful for any suggestion.

Solution
Sounds like there could be three issues.
1) Drivers. Make sure you download and install updated copies of drivers.
2) Install more RAM. Windows 7 wants more than two GB. It's an inexpensive upgrade and well worth the money.
3) Check to make sure your hard drive isn't bad: http://hddscan.com/ A bad drive would explain crashing and sluggish performance.
