moving from ddr3 1600mhz to 1866mhz

my system is running with 4*4 gb of ram at 1600mhz .. i want to use 2*8 gb @1866mhz instead .. just wondering if i have to overclock my system in order to make it possible use that or just simply swap and replace the memory kit and keep every thing default???
core i7 4770k .. z97 gaming 5 by MSI ,, MSI gtx 780ti

so what does this mean .. to use 1866 or higher mhz the system should be in the (OC) mode??!!

Where does it say that? It shouldn't be a problem as your board supports it

With your rig no, simply change sticks and enable XMP, if you had a weaker CPU it may require a CPU OC, but yours is fine
