500w Power Supply for HP M9525F Elite Desktop PC

Solution

The 1 & 2 links aren't working. But the PSU's should have the correct cables/connectors, yes.

If your still using the same setup, exactly, then that Antec 350W is okay. You can use a 500W as well, a long as it exceeds the power requirements.

GeForce 9300 GS requires 18 Amps on the 12v rail & 300W PSU minimum

That Antec BP350 has 276W/23 amps on the 12v rail.

Dimensions wise, the case Mid-size ATX, which is a medium sized case, and ATX being a universal standard size. As it's an HP case (they can sometimes be awkward with dimensions), you may want to get a tape measure out & just check the dimensions of the PSU, and compare to the new unit.

Alright thanks, I checked the dimensions ( just checked online) and here they are:

Current 350w Power Supply:
Height: 3.3"
Width: 5.8"
Depth: 5.5

New 500w Power Supply:

Height: 3.3"
Width: 5.9"
Depth: 5.5"

I noticed the Width is .1 of an inch off, Do you think it will be fine?
Thanks

It looks okay, it could just be a margin of error in the measuring. I'd be more concerned if it was an entire inch, than 0.1,

Worst case scenario, the screw alignment may not match up, exactly, perfectly, with the case/PSU.

Definitive answer, I would take the chance.

Okay perfect, Last question :D

This is the specs of my current power supply: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817174033

This is the power supply I will buy (Can be one of the 2 I don't care) THIS ONE or THIS ONE

I am wondering about the connector cables, Will they be compatible with my pc? (meaning is it the same connector things as the current power supply)

Thanks
