I'm looking to upgrade so I'm buying a new Mobo to support the 4970k I'm buying.
I'm getting the Asus Z97-A motherboard.
I always go by the QVL when buying Ram for a motherboard so I checked out Asus's QVL.
There list doesn't have a G.Skill dual channel kit for 16gb @ 8gbx2 .. I would rather not use 4x 4gb sticks so my second choice was an Adata kit which is fine but I couldn't see the most popular 16gb kit on newegg not being on the QVL. .
I decided to look at the QVL for G.Skill's F3-1600C9D-16GXM kit and it is listed on their QVL for the Asus Z97-A but not on Asus's QVL.
Does anyone use this kit on their Asus Z97-A motherboard? F3-1600C9D-16GXM
