Are you against AMD graphics cards? Because you can probably get a little better performance from an r7 260x, especially in mantle supported games.

THe r9 260x would be better in its price point. At the sme price point of the gtx 750Ti, you could get a r7 265. (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-video-card-r72652gd5oc)

Or, If you don't mind the mail in rebate, you could get a r9 270 (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/sapphire-video-card-100365...) <<< this one can practically be overclocked to match a r9 270x at stock.

+1 with the AMD Radeon R7 260x.

was actually switching a few things like a cheaper case to allow more money towards a XFX R9-280 but ive seen a few people complain that the XFX was faulty for many incidents would you have any idea

I own 2 cards from XFX and neither one of them were faulty. The first one has been used for 2-3 years overclocked no problem. The one currently is still within its first year.
