My current rig is:
78lmt-usb3
AMD FX6300
2x4gb ddr3 ram
GTX650
Powered by a Corsair CX430

I am wanting to upgrade my GTX650 to a GTX770, add 2x4gb ram and a hdd to my rig.

Do I need a better power supply or more connectors?

if u get a 770 then get a good 650 watt psu 770 requires 42 @ 12+ volt same as gtx 780 so dont get low on the psu and u have a fx processor so i think u will oc it ....600 watt would be okk but keeping a little bit headroom is always good .....

ok thanks i will get a 650watt for room for expansion. do you recommend any brands?
