i have a sandy bridge Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge Quad-Core 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W in a Asus P8Z68- V Pro 1155 socket and in a box i have an unused ivy bridge intel 3770 i know they are backwards compatible, but are cpu's plug and play or are there any other precausions i need to take before i swap CPU out for ivy bridge intel Core i7-3770 Ivy Bridge Quad-Core 3.4GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W. Id really not like to fry my cpu or motherboard thank you.
