Laptop RAM Problems

Hi, i have a laptop that i like to use for portable gaming ( It still runs WoW, LoL at lowest settings) But since a week or so it has a problem, When i boot it up it uses 40-50% Of its total RAM, Than suddenly, while doing nothing it goes up to 90-95% And as far as i know the processor usage keeps the same.
Here are the specs:
Processor: Pentium Dual Core@ 2.2GHz T4400
RAM: 3GB
Graphics: Not 100% Sure but i believe its an Intel GMA 4500M
Laptop: Asus K50IJ

Any help would be appreciated, If you need anymore specifications let me know

Oh btw ( DOnt know how to pronounce this correctly) I also some get random black screens for 5-20 seconds in this state my computer does not respond to any action ( Caps lock lights ) And also my windoes Aero sometimes randomly switches off and than goes back on

Depending on what version of Windows you're using, with 3GB of DRAM you can expect that Windows will be using half of that or more for background processes and checks. When you use it, the DRAM capacity gets reallocated accordingly. Have you noticed any hangups, gaming performance lagging (more than usual), etc?

If so, you may have a memory leakage issue - basically a program or process hanging on to RAM after it should have released it back to the available pool.

Nothing is using more RAM than usually, in total the programs in my task manager use up like 1 or maybe 1.5 gigs but task manager does say my ram usage is 95%

I use windows 7 home premium 64 Bit, Normally the RAM Usage is 40% but since last week it went randomly up to 95% and my pc just responds very slowly and stuff and my gaming performance went down, when it the 95% ram usage problem occurs my games dont even load correctly

The first thing to do is make sure your Windows, drivers and BIOS are up-to-date. Then go into your task manager (I know you've already done this, but want to make sure you're looking at the right info) and go into the processes tab. Expand the window so you can see complete description and click on the column labeled "Memory (Private Working Set)". That will prioritize the running processes in order of memory usage. (Make sure to select the block at the bottom that says show processes from all users.) Tell us what the top two or three processes are listed and how much memory they're using.

Currently i dont have the problem with the high ram usage because i rebooted my pc, but it will happen again in a few hours, if so i will give you the information currently the top three processes are LolClient.exe*32
Skype.exe*32
Chrome.exe*32

and when the problem with high ram usage occurs this are also the top three processes.. if i have Lolclient opened..
