FX8350 OC get's to hot, why?

So, this is my problem.
Just bought an Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 so i could OC my FX8350 to minimal 4,5GHZ with air cooling.

So i started and set all bios settings to my likings. I ended @ 4,5Ghz with 1,41V (that is not much I think)

The case I am using is a Fractal Design Refine 4 with stock coolers in it.
On the processor i have a Noctua NH-D14 with both Fans installed.

So after that i started Prime95 to test. But after 20 minutes I saw the temps were allready around 70 degrees, which is not good I think.

The system didn't freeze or acted unstable or something, so the voltage wasn't too low I guess.

But I was very disapointed cus I though with this set-up I could get a stable 4,5Ghz with good temperatures on aircooling. What can I do about it? And no, i don't wanna go for liquid cooling :p

You can live with it, or you can start tweaking things. There are no guarantees on overclocking, ever. If you want lower temperatures on air, either fix whatever your inefficiencies are with your current air setup or get a more powerful one.

Other than improper installation or a poor application of thermal interface material, I doubt there is much that could have gone wrong.

You might consider stepping down your voltage by whatever increment is available, to see how low you can continue to run Prime95 in a stable fashion. Obviously, heat should come down with less voltage.

That is not bad on a prime run temp wise since it is package not core temp. Looks like your rig is stable, what are normal load temps?

Normal load temps didnt messure. I watched the temps with HWmonitor while running the hottest prime95 test. I will make a screenshot in a minute to post here with the temps while running.

Oke, so after 10 minutes of Prime this are my temps. It's not good after 10 minutes such a temperature I think.

Also I am not sure what to set at this screen:

Oke, I have changed my settings and this are the temps after Prime95 for a while.
Is it safe?

The crazy thing is that the middle temperature is much lower, what's with that?

There are more than 1 guide like this with info on what settings people use http://www.overclock.net/t/1348623/amd-bulldozer-and-pi...

Thanks, I followed the guide and it helped me a lot.
I mannaged to OC it to 4,5GHZ @ 1,36V

These are my temperatures after 1:30 Prime95:

And this is idle:

Am I good to go with these temperatures to use this OC 24/7?

And I was wondering if these temps are oke for a Noctua NH-D14 so i installed it correctly with the
right amount of thermal paste?

Looking good with that temp drop, totally safe for 24/7.
