I have an Acer Aspire 7750G, I had much problems with it so I decided to update to Windows 8.1. Because after all if the problems aren't solved I can still go back to Windows 7 using Acer's eRecovery, i thought. The update succeeded but my drivers were messed up and as so the software that kept my computer working correctly. Most of it is solved, but problems keep popping up when using my computer. So I tried to use Acer's eRecovery and it gives an error that I first need to finish the OS installation (which of course is finished). I called Acer to maybe send me an e-mail with drivers attached or something, and they said that I needed to pay €50 for the eRecovery software that came pre installed onto my pc. So I downloaded a modded BIOS to solve some of my problems, Dolby Advanced Audio v2 is somewhat solved, but I can't equalize it and with that goes the Surround Virtualizer. I hope someone has a solution to this problem or help me solve the eRecovery error.
