why xeon? why not a beefier FX your mobo can take up to an FX8350 http://www.asus.com/uk/Motherboards/M5A78LMUSB3/HelpDes...
would be much simpler and cheaper, and then get new GPU you could do it for about £600 in total.
As for a faster SSD, real world you aren't going to get a lot faster, bigger yes, I'm running a 120 for OS and some games and a 512 SSD for other games .

The upgrades look pretty good to me. Any reason for getting 850w though? The mobo you picked out doesn't support SLI so I am not sure why you would go for a 850w instead of a 750w or 650w. My guess is the price since that EVGA is only $100 but figured I would ask.

I can get a much faster SSD as mines is an old one.

Also i'm staying away from AMD due to them basically giving up gpu's and doing APU's. Their latest CPU's just look like a pathetic cry for help. That xeon is basically an i7 4770k without OC abilities and price tag.

Also that 8350 simply isn't as good as the xeon

That PSU will do me for a long time, i like to have some extra wattage for a number of reasons of which would take a long time to explain.

On another note, i forgot to mention fans. I currently have 2 stock fans ( a H60i too but thats going to a friend) on at the back exhausting and on intake at the front. The stock fans aren't great and i plan to replace them and add another 1 or (especially at front since i have more HD's now)

I think the Xeon E3's are a great choice for someone who does not plan to overclock (only E3 1230v3 or higher, the 1220/1225 only have 4 threads instead of 8).
