i only have a 1gb card so memory is a very valuable resource. how do you tell? windows 7.
not looking for what uses most memory, just for what uses video memory.

Solution
from the moment monitor is actually showing anything, it consumes vram. while on desktop you would use ~100mb for 1080p resolution. the higher the resolution the more vram it will use. multiple monitors will additionally increase the amount. you can use gpuz to monitor the actually memory used!
