With postage they end up being the same price but i cant tell what's better to be honest. I plan on gaming at 1080p Ultra if possible and just hoping i can get the most out of my money really.
280 definitely, it will get a good fps on high but on ultra it might struggle, depends. And it's from amazon, much better than ebay
thanks. I thought amazon would be better aswell cos of the warranty issues.
I realize this is resolved. I own two HD 7950s. The R9 280, and HD 7950 are the same GPU just like the R9 280x, and HD 7970 are. The HD 7950 is a great overclocker, and will perform 1 or 2 FPS behind a HD 7970 when at the same clock speed, which will allow you to max out BF4, and play games like Far Cry 3 at Ultra with 4x AA instead of 8x AA. So my point is overclock that GPU or else there will be a lot of wasted potential.
Well on Ebay you are buying from individuals, but Ebay has a guarranty so if something doesn't work you will get you're money back. I trust them, I have bought four GPUs off Ebay.
