Hey guys, I have a Samsung monitor that's about a year and a half old.

I was getting this weird problem with my computer where whenever I was booting up blue lines would appear on the screen. They would disappear after the computer finally booted up though.

I tried the monitor with my Xbox 360 and I didn't see any problems or distortions in the picture.

So I decided to take out the video card and reseat it and that seemed to fix the problem.

However this is my issue.

I moved the monitor into my room last night and I cant recall whether or not I may have tilted the monitor, which I hear can cause problems in the back panel or something.

The monitor seems to be working fine now, and a friend told me that it was probably the video card that was causing the issue.

Im a very paranoid person and Im afraid my monitor may be broken. Any comments?

Sounds more like a Graphics card Issue since it works on the Xbox fine & when you reseated the Graphics card it works as it should. Monitors usually last a long time. Mine is going on 6 years old & still working well.

I tried a different cable and the issue still occurred. However I just performed a "Samsung Monitor Test" and it appeared to show that the monitor is perfectly fine. So I think when I moved the computer the GTX 750 may have wiggled a little bit or something. And that's why I think reseating the card fixed it.
