Hi,

I just got my new motherboard an ASUS M5A67 LE R2.0. I put everything into it, and installed Windows 8 Pro x64. I was happy until I saw that it doesn't want to recognize my TP-Link TL-WN851N PCI wifi card.

I opened the device manager, and I saw "Network Controller" instead of the usual "Unknown Device". I tried to install the usual driver for it (Qualcomm Atheros AR922X) but I didn't succeed. Somehow I managed to start the device, and it worked fine. But as soon as I restarted my computer it stopped working again. Now I don't know how to make it work. I tested the card on my other PC and it worked fine, so there's a problem with the motherboard.

It seems like if it wasn't getting electricity at all, because it's not blinking.

Pleas help me!
Thanks,
Péter Koppa (Hungary)
PS: Sorry for my English :)
Post PS: I was trying to install the Qualcomm driver because I've left the original driver, and I cannot connect to the TP-Link website at all.

In the evening I watched film, and fell asleep. The computer entered sleeping mode. After waking up the computer detected wifi card. This is... ...strange. So now I have wifi, but only until the next startup.

I found the solution.
When I boot up my PC for some reason my PCI card doesn't boot, maybe it doesn't get electricity.

After booting I turn on sleeping mode, and after that when my computer wakes up, the wifi card wakes up with it. So the solution is that. :D Maybe there's something in the BIOS which disables PCI devices to boot up in order to boot up faster, or I don't know. What do you think?
