Windows 8.1 BSOD while gaming

I bought a new gaming system and received it this week. I'm getting frequent BSOD crashes with the error message irql_not_less_or_equal. These have all happened while gaming or watching streams. I have also noticed random crashes with Flash in Chrome. I assumed this was a graphics issue so I updated drivers and software to Catalyst Control Center 14.4 with no luck. Windows is also up to date.

System:
OS - Windows 8.1 64 bit
CPU - AMD FX-8320 (3.5GHZ 8-core)
Graphics Card - Radeon R9 270 (2GB GDDR5)
Memory - 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1866MHZ
Motherboard - AMD 970
Power Supply - 600W

Also, in the event log viewer there were multiple warnings of "The driver \Driver\WudfRd failed to load..." and errors of "The AODDriver4.3 service failed to start..."

Any help to fix this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I uninstalled the Catalyst Control Center and drivers but if I go to device manager > display adapter > property it shows I have an older driver still installed. Should I uninstall that driver directly from device manager?

Also, I'll check my PSU right now.

Okay, I removed it completely and reinstalled the drivers. So far no crash yet. I'm not sure of the power supply brand. I bought it from Cyberpower, 600W 80 plus standard. Could I potentially not have enough power for my system? I thought 600 would be more than enough.

I'll work on updating BIOS now.
