Hello
I'm looking to upgrade my old SFF HTPC's video card. It is hooked to a 1080p LED TV and it currently has a Nvidia GT 220 witch has done well till late when 1080p Blu-ray quality Web Video or files (MP4, MKV, etc) seem to be overwhelming it (I.E. frame rate drops and audio sync issues)..
I'm not looking to game on it I have my main rig for that, so I'm not looking for the latest and greatest as its only running Win XP powered by a 3.4Ghz Pentium D with 4 GB ram, I just need it to run 1080p Video (web and file) cleanly..
I am looking to stick with Nvidia if possible and was thinking of a GT 520 or GT 640 as both can be picked up fairly cheap now but was unsure if bottlenecks might cause me more problems with the very old CPU.. Any advice would be welcome

I doubt a GT 520/620 would be bottlenecked by your Pentium.

Since its a SFF (Small Form Factor) I would need a Low Profile card

Well where to buy isn't the problem I was really asking if anyone knew of any issues with a late model card in this old cluncker of an HTPC.. I have used an GT 640 in a friends HTPC and it plays 1080p flawlessly, but it is a newer (then mine) core 2 system so I was worried about bottlenecks and such on an Pentium D

Any GT or GTX 750 or 750Ti low profile will be fine. The Pentium won't bottleneck any of them.
