Okay guys so here I am, deciding to get Windows 8. I am a bit confused on how to pass it on to my flash drive for a few reasons. Let's say I pop in the windows 8 cd disk and it takes me to the installation menu. I put in my product key and it begins downloading. However, my question is, do I pass the ISO file to my flash drive before I start the installation and put in the pin or I put the iso file in my usb drive after I put the product key? In one of the Windows 8 options it says something about installing it from a media so I'm very confused. The package does carry a 64bit dvd with code but I wanna put it in a flash drive.

You have the DVD? And you want to also put that on a USB stick?

If what you have is just the starter .exe, then yes...start the install, and early in the process you will be presented with "Install Now", or "Install later with media"
Choose 'media'. This will give ou a full ISO that you can burn to DVD or copy to USB stick.
