file explorer won't open

Hi guys

Just tried to click on file explorer and its not coming up but when i hover over the icon it shows as if its open i have restarted my computer and no luck.Thanks.

hi scotty
have you tried start+r it opens run then type explorer.exe
or open task manager and go file, start new task then type explorer.exe
