i need help with a part in my mb

i was taking my motherboard for 1 computer to a new case and while i was opening it i found some tiny little blue thing on the mb.Is it important cause i lost it somewhere in my room?(first time doing stuff like this)

It sounds like you're describing a pin jumper.

They're usually used on hard drives but sometimes they are used on MB. In this case it seems like the jumper is used to clear the cmos. It should be on pins 1-3 of the cmos clearing jumpers.
