Hi guys, this is my first post so excuse me if I'm a bit awkward or uh......... new. Anyway, I just got my new laptop 3 weeks ago so I can use it for schoolwork, surfing the web, and casually gaming for games like TF2, Dota 2, and Terraria. Terraria is fine, but in Dota 2 and TF2 I get very low fps when I enter combat (10-30fps). When I'm alone, in spawn, or staring at a wall I get anywhere between 40-100 fps. Playing on all low settings probably only has about a +5 fps difference than from all high. I've tried everything I can think of like FPS Configs, Defragging TF2, Defragging Dota 2, Defragging my hard drives, Using Gamebooster, Reinstalled TF2, Dota 2, and Steam, Reinstalled my OS and checked my drivers which say they are up to date. I believe this new laptop is better than my old one, which could run both Dota 2 and Tf2 on mostly low settings and get a stable 40-50 fps with little to no lag at all. I don't remember the specs of my old one which broke about a 6 weeks ago, but I have a link of it. So, here are the specs of my CURRENT laptop
Processor: AMD A8-6410 2.0 Gz Quad-core APU
Graphics: AMD Radeon R5(Came with the card)
Hard Drive: 750GB
RAM: 4GB
OS: Windows 8.1

And here is the link to my OLD laptop: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00A9IIJGA/ref=twister_B00A9YHUZA
I don't want to buy a new laptop or anything like a new graphics card/more RAM because I spent most of my budget on the laptop.
