As of right now, Im not next to the computer, but after some time, without my knowledge, my computer has been having some sort of output issues.
I have been using the gioteck ex-05s, which i wanted to replace, however after replacing it with a plantronics headset (which works on other computers, tried on a laptop, and a mac) ive noticed that my computer would recognise my output device, but to no avail, produce any output sounds.
Drivers get installed properly, and under the sounds panel, the device is shown connected, and all in all the computer recognises the device.
It was then that i started to investigate, and found that not only plug and play devices would behave in this manor but also any output devices from the audio jacks.

I have an realtek sound manager, and ive tried the most standard troubleshooting; such as:
-Reinstalling realtek sound manager
-Reinstalling Drivers
-Updating Drivers
-Uninstalled plantronics driver, restarted and reinstalled driver.
-Installed the surround sound driver for plantronics.
-Updated ALL drivers
-Tested all audio devices on other computers, (laptop, phone, mac, another computer); and all would work.
OFC on all these things done, i restarted the computer

With all these done, i have yet to find a solution.
I know one thing u guys are going to say is to 'set as default' for the audio device, but that option is always greyed out.
I would much appreciate all help, im at a pickle, as atm have no sound at all for my main computer, and is causing me problems with work.
