I was wondering what the best aftermarket CPU cooler would be for my FX-8350. I do not overclock anything. It is a gaming PC if that makes a difference. I don't know if I should go liquid cooling or just a good air cooler. Another thing to note is that I have a MATX mobo. Any suggestions?
*Edit*
My case is the NZXT Phantom 240

Best cooler i had for my 8350 was my cooler master seidon 120M. It's an AIO water cooler and had that processor freezing cold (room temp) all the time. Plus you can snag it for next to nothing (~$35) on Newegg when on sale. I HIGHLY recommend it as being leaps and bounds above stock and being quiet.

A high end cpu cooler is a waste for your build. This is why- There are no Micro ATX boards that have a strong enough power delivery section to supply the juice needed to push an 8350. The board will basically "throttle" your cpu because it's vrm's have no heatsinks on them. That and the vrm's themselves are only 4+1. A good board for an 8350 has 8+2. But only some select full ATX boards are 8+2. No Micro ATX boards are 8+2. Micro ATX boards are usually to be avoided with FX cpu's.

Do you have any suggestions then for a new (not very expensive) motherboard then?
