Guys help me out on this.Recently I tried to normally switch on my computer but my pc won't boot at all.It started normally means all the fans are OK but then all of a sudden cpu's power goes off and then try to start again automatically but same thing happened. This just happening repeatedly until I switched of the main power source from my switchboard.I have a skull designed in my motherboard because it's a Intel extreme series motherboard and the skull is the logo of the Intel extreme series.Whenever I on my cpu the skull goes red and blink repeatedly as it normally does but now the skull first at start up goes green and when just it goes red the cpu lost his power immediately.I just don't know what is happening. Is it any hardware failure or something else.
My Pc Specifications are :-
Intel Extreme Series DP67BG Motherboard
Intel i7 2600 processor
Zion 2 x 4 Gb DDR3 1333 Mhz Ram
1 Tb Seagate Hdd
Cooler Master 600 watt Smps
Zotac Geforce Gtx 560 ti amp edition 1 Gb DDR5 Graphics Card
Microsoft Windows 7 64 Bit Ultimate Edition

Solution
I literally have the same problem, I am very sure it is the power supply that is failing and needs to be replaced. Also check all connections and make sure that isn't the problem before buying a new psu.

Thanks for helping.Even I was thinking the same that the route of my problem is my psu but what you are thinking that my psu got damaged or it is not enough to run my system because all this day my psu easily run my system without a scratch but all of a sudden it gets damaged and for that my cpu won't start.Reply please........

have you tried taking out the cmos battery on the motherboard for 20 seconds? If not unplug pc from wall, and remove the battery on the motherboard for 20 seconds then replace. Also try using a different power source for the pc, like a different wall outlet to plug it in and see if that is causing the problem.

I tried taking out the cmos battery from the motherboard through jumper settings & as well as directly but my problem remains same.I also tried to run my cpu with minimal configuration means only motherboard power cables and Hdd but still the problem remains.Even I tried to run pc by only plugged in the motherboard power cables but nothing happens. My motherboard led display shows the status code 2A and just after that cpu gets off then start again & it repeats.I checked out my motherboard manual and find out that 2A status code means ' PEI phase post MRC execution'.I don't know what that means.I have Intel Extreme series DP67BG motherboard. Will there any chance that my motherboard is faulty or damaged?
Reply.......and thanks for your cooperation till now.
