....it's a trick question as I already know the answer.....it's nnnnn.......YES!

So, I was after a Windows tablet, although I shuddered at the thought of Windows 8, I needed Windows as it's the os with the most compatibility with everything (particularly any astronomy type apps and drivers).

Most win8 tablets are expensive or have low res displays, but the Onda V975w has the same retina display as the IPAD air (simply beautiful), the Bay Trail Z3735 and 2GB RAM, plus it was just over $200!

So, over it came from China and after a bit of fiddling around to set it to English, all was good. After ensuring all my astronomy apps worked, it was time to install Steam!

Of course, I'm a bit limited with 32GB onboard and 32GB SD (although I can plug in a HD via USB), but I installed Crysis I and Max Pain 2.

Running on low settings and 800x600, Crysis is actually just playable at 17-20fps!

More surprising is Maxpain 2, which runs at 60fps, 800x600 on medium settings! Outstanding for a 2.5W CPU/GPU with <2GB RAM (256MB reserved for GPU, which can be up to 512MB, and 800MB for Win8).

Running some bench marks, its performance is pretty much the same as my old Athlon X2 4000 and 8600GT which was >>100W, vs 2.5W today.

Simply amazing how mobile technology has advanced

There are better Bay Trail CPUs, this is the lowest of the Z3xxx series. I believe the next ones are going to be even better. I think Intel have finally got a winner with this one and providing Win8 for free for tablets <$250 could be a stoke of genius, time will tell.

Well why have you posted all that on a help forum? What do you need help with?

When you post comments in future, please post in an appropriate forum such as "Opinions & Experiences" here:

Don't post on our help forums unless you need help or you're helping someone fix a problem.

jeez, you are quick to crucify, and you are who exactly???

It's people like you who make me think why do I bother with the hundreds of answers I've given people to help them or to post useful experiences such as this.

Still I shouldn't let one person put me off.

Don't be so bloody rude!!

Rude? Where exactly? It's for a mod to decide that, haven't heard from one yet.
