hey guys,
just decided to build my very first gaming pc. i'm using the following parts please let me know if i could do better by changing anything before i order it.

case :Antec X1-E Gaming USB3.0 Mid Tower Case Side Panel without PSU

PSU: Corsair CS750M 750Watt 80Plus Gold ATX Power Supply Unit

processor: core i5 4690

Motherboard : Gigabyte H97 Gaming 3 Intel H97 S1150 4xDDR3/2xPCI-E/DP/HDMI/DVI/Killer E2201/ATX

RAM: Kingston HyperX FURY Blue HX316C10FK2/8 8G Kit (4Gx2) DDR3 1600MHz Desktop Ram
( this is the one i'm worried about cuz i read it that it might be running at a low speed due to processor's speed limitation)

GPU: Gainward GW-GTX760-4G-PH (3033) 4G GTX 760 Phantom PCI-E VGA Card

SSD: Kingston SHFS37A/120G HyperX FURY

Your view are appreciated this is costing me 1179 AUD please advise if it can be made any better ? I'm looking to hook it up with my 55 inch lcd led tv.
cheers

Hey mate the prices in Australia is expensive so you are not to be blamed.

I reckon you could exchange the Corsair PSU with a Bronze to save some money and hopefully spend it on a better GPU, try the R9 280 performs slightly better for about the same price.

The desktop ram is fine and is a popular choice here in Australia.

Everything else is fine. :D

thanks for the help, but i just came back from a computer shop the dude just told me i need a 1000w power supply...don't know why but he also said that nvidia graphic triumph...any suggestions ?

May I know which store this is?

You soundly even need more than 600W or 650W for the build. So I am pretty sure this guy is fooling around and making you pay more. Don't fall his trap. If you need to know how much this needs check with more people on the forum.

Hope this helps mate.

yeah dude this is in qld a small computer shop. i figured he was dodgy cuz he started crossing off my config. cut ram in half smaller processor etc. and then he said it would cost me around 1500. f&*k that ..
