EVGA 500b any good

OK from hearing rumors of nvidias new 860ti being as powerful as a 780, i just wanted to make sure the power supply im using would support it,http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=100-B1-0500-KR the rumored tdp is 180 watts, also id like to know i the psu is any good

I'say 550 to be safe, cause the 780 needs 550 recommended but it may be more power efficient so :/ but I'd say get 550, to allow for headroom

Well the only thing is that the 780 has a tdp of 250 yet the rumored 860ti has a tdp of 180

NO WAY would I buy a 500W. Bronze PSU for a high end GPU like that!

yes the reason im asking is im trying to keep my build under my budget of 500 yet is it worth waiting for nvidias new cards because i will get my pc around christmas time anyway.

get the 600b at least....I have to say got mine its pretty solid more budget oriented unit...and has plenty of headroom to run something like that.

Considering the 860ti will be mid tier gpu, and that it will be more power efficient, that puts it along the power draws oof a 750ti
