.....after years of working well I have suddenly got a Page Fault in Non Paged Area BSOD that is preventing me from start up. The start up does not get past the windows logo screen.

I have not installed any new hardware or software recently, I replaced my hard drive with an SSD about 3 months ago.

From this forum I picked up a number of things to try but they haven't worked yet -
- safe modes - won't launch
- last know configuration - no effect
- tried to disable my memory cache in my CMOS/BIOS setting - but I don't seem to have that setting
- run memtest on my RAM, I did find an error on one of my ram modules, I have now removed that and the other 2 show no errors after 12 passes

I'd be very grateful for help and suggestions

I'm having the exact same problem, just start happening 2 days ago. I'm usually pretty good at troubleshooting these things, but I'm totally stumped by this. I've confirmed mine is absolutely NOT a hardware error. Did you by chance install windows updates on the last working windows session? My computer had been working 100% fine, and the only thing I can think I did to alter Windows in the last time it worked was install the latest Windows updates, so I'm thinking that could be to blame. However, I can't access system restore to roll back!

Maybe we can find a commonality between our two failures?
