Okay so my computer turns on but the one system fan that is installed in my system doesn't spin and nothing comes up on my monitor. Also my computer doesn't beep once as it used when it was working on start up.

I have taken my computer apart and reassembled it. I tried to take out components 1 by 1 to see if the beep codes happen still nothing.

I took everything out such as the ram, gpu, cd drive and hard drive. With all those components detached I have noticed that my psu fan an my CPU fan start spinning then stop then repeat in a infinite loop Still no-beeps.

So I tested the system fan on another computer and it works I tried putting a different system fan into this system and it doesn't work.

So it's either a psu issue which it shouldn't be as I just purchased it.

my gpu fans spin and my CPU fan spin so power is working so would it be the motherboard that is dead.

my build if needed

Intel core i5 2300
6gb ddr3 ram
Nvidia gtx 760
Cougar 750w psu
acer inc ipisb-vr rev 1.01

i hear and see my gpu and cpu fan spin along with the psu fan inside. my cd drive also works as i am able to open and close it. also my mouse seems to work as the light comes on but my keyboards lights do not come on which indicates that it might be a motherboard issue.

i have tried installing a new system fan and that one doesn't work.

this problem occurred when i placed in 2 more ram sticks and the system wouldn't start as it gained power for a second then turned off.

so have i damaged the psu or is the motherboard dead.

i have tried toms checklist but i am unable to do certain steps such as the psu as i do not have te required equipment.

Thanks

remove the card and then try to boot normally see if the video appears if u still have the problem the remove every possible connections from the psu to the motherboard including the ram ,hdd cables, dvdrom cables,GPu,front panel connectors,BIOS battery and after 5 min put them back properly.....it may help...so give it a try...
