My buddy wants to get in to pc gaming and don't have much cash to work with he wants to get a system this week coming so he is giving me the cash for ether a cheap build or to buy a used system here is what I have looked at.

System 1
Intel core 2 quad q6600
GA-G41MT-S2PT
8gb Kingonston HyperX DDR3
60gb ocz ssd
300gb WD hdd
Asus geforce gtx 750ti 2gb
Windows 7 pro

System 2
Intel Celeron G1840 Dual core
GA-B85M-HD3
8Gb Kingston HyperX DDR3
300Gb Hdd
Asus geforce gtx 750ti
Windows 7 Pro

Systey one the c2q q6600 is for sale for 250 with out the 750ti

System two is going to be a starter build withe the 750ti I know the celeron is not a grate cpu for games but will be replaced in a few months with a I5 once he saves up

Games he wants to play Mechworrior online, war thunder and a few other free to play and some bf4 maybe figured I would see what is best for him to start with and so on figuured the celeron do to newer soc don't know much on the older intel c2q with newer games and the 750ti any in put would help out

Both Cpus are weak and both will bottleneck the 750ti, I would go with system 2.
bf4 will run at low fps no matter what settings you use because of the bottleneck.

I figured the bottleneck with the cel would be bad but he will be running at 1480*900 his lcd is older samsung to be replaced ok so I was right go with the newer soc then replace the cpu in a few months
