I don't hear a lot about the MSI Z97 G55 Sli. Is there anyone that has this board. What's your impressions?

I know it's not the top but is it a good compromise between cost and performance?

Is it a good choice for basic over clocking? I can't decide which z97 to choose. Can't you give me a hint?

I have the MSI Z87-G43 which has been running for one year now without problems. IMO, MSI makes some great mobos for Intel chipsets. Unfortunately, their AMD chipset mobos are to be avoided and the problems with the AMD boards result in a bad rep for all MSI mobos.

It certainly looks capable. It has a decent amount of heatsinking on the power delivery components for the processor, supports two-way SLI, plenty of expansion slots, gets you M.2 and SATA-Express. In short, it should make for a very nice midrange build.
