I am curious how this gaming rig blueprint would hold up in 4K; before any body answers this, please take note that I will not have the system purchased until early to mid September.
I would like to keep the i7 4790k for the hyper threading as it is good for editing and faster video conversion.

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97X-GAMING 4-Way SLI ATX Motherboard - $223.99 @ Amazon

GPU: GTX 780 Ti PNY Enthusiast Overclocked Edition Graphics Card - $649.99 @ Amazon
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 1300G2 - $189.99 @ Amazon
Grand Total: $2,540.60
As it is going to be in September, I am aware of the impending announcement of the GTX 880. I am using the GTX 780 Ti's as a point of reference/back up plan. Will this build, as it stands, handle 4K well? Also the reasoning for such a monstrously huge PSU is that I want to have plenty of head room for future expansion if I ever feel the need to add a third or even fourth card.
Post your thoughts! Thanks!
