Solution
Uninstall the drivers for the HD 4000 series graphics and install the ones for the 740m from Nvidia's website. That might fix the resolution, but make sure the resolution in Windows, and FIFA are set correctly. Most games also have an "enable fullscreen" option in the settings. Otherwise hitting ALT+Enter will force the game into fullscreen.
