Low Fps On Arma 3

okey so been getting low fps on arma 3 since I downloaded it, (10-25fps on high/standard graphic settings)

any suggestions?

CPU ~ 3.8Ghz Amd FX-6200 6-core
Motherboard ~ Gigabyte GA-970A-Ds3
PSU ~ Corsair Enthusiast Series TX650 80+ 650w
Ram ~ 16gb Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz
Cooler ~ Corsair H80i
Memory ~ 1TB Sata III Hard Drive
OS ~ Windows 8.1

Solution
Your current CPU and system should hold up fine. Try getting the latest graphic card drivers and check to see if your CPU or GPU is over heating.

Here's a CPU benchmark for the game:

Your current CPU is very similar to the FX 6350's fps for this benchmark, and as you can see the fps is only 6 fps away from an i7 4770k.

Um, isn't the 6200 part of the FIRST gen FX cpu's? If that is the case it is a bit worse than the 6350.

OP - are you doing multiplayer or singleplayer? Multiplayer some servers are set up really bad and give everybody bad fps in towns. There are also certain settings you should disable in ARMA 3 because they are really poorly optimized, look up some optimization guides for ARMA 3.
