I'm building my first PC, on my own, and have run into a bit of uncertainty. I was gifted an Asus P6X 58D-E motherboard, and to fit that, I am thinking of an Nvidia Geforce GTX 770 2GB Graphics card. I was just wondering if anyone knows if it will fit in the MSI Blitz ATX mid-tower case i want. Haven't bought anything yet (already have motherboard), so it isn't too late to change the parts around, it's just that the case comes with a free 650 W power supply.

Please help, I dont want to waste any money on the wrong stuff.

If it is this case we are talking about then yes, it should. Gtx770 is 266mm inches in length and the case supports upto 310mm.

Any psu that comes with the case will be bad and it should fit in, a mid tower can accommodate a atx board and a 770

I am planning to get the intel core i7 990X, i beleive is the fastest one that fits my mobo (LGA 1366) plus i have found a new, cheap one that comes with the fan.

... i posted my original question less than five minutes ago

Its an old mobo, thats why I asked :) . But if you can find a i7 990x that would be good. still a heck of a processor.
Enjoy your PC :) .

Additional:

The mobo is direct from manufacturer, anyone know where to get the q-sheild, sata 3 and 6 GB/s cables, 2 and 3-way SLI bridges, and the Q-connector? Also does the mobo not have USB 3.0 headers, cus partpicker.com is telling me that i cant use the front panel USB ports, which means i have to use the ones at the back, which is just awkward.

i suppose i can use the front ones for just holding my usb sticks then :3
of all the things for asus not to put in. I cant even use the bays at the front of the MSI Blitz to have an IO interface. its more headphones I am worried about, but if i get the cables, I should be able to make them work, shouldn't I?
My dad is refusing to beleive that there isnt a way to still acess usb from the front- could i run a cable from the bback to something at the front which allows me to have my usb slots in a more convenient place?

its the Q sheild im really annoyed with, because there dont seem to be any people outside of america who are selling them, i dont want to pay £30 postage for a £5 item >:(

Im on Scan.co.uk trying to find the GPU (scan have an offer for a free download of borderlands the pre-sequel) but the way it presents the products is confusing me, i have scrolled past the 'featured pruducts bit to find the search results it presented me with, and none of them match 'Nvidia geforce 770', some say Frozr or Zotac or Gainward. one says Asus, so I'm thinking they are all different companies, so hwy are they coming up when i want an Nvidia one? am i missing something?
