I know it worked before so i dont know whats doing it this time. tried two hdmi cables and both hdmi ports however both DVI ports work just fine. The TV detects it and asks to change to the port so i know its something with the computer side. ive even just plugged in the hdmi and restarteed the pc and i didnt get nothing. otherwise the card still works and running 1080p on my monitor. please help if can

Your problem is very unclear to me

Please

- State your problem first and what you want to achieve

- Then tell us what you've tried

- Add extra information, like which hardware you use
What GPU do you use?
How much display are involved and in what kind of setup?

That would make it easier to help for us

1 problem is that that computer won't connect via hdmi to my LG tv which what I'm trying to achieve.
2 I've tried both ports and different hdmi cables even my laptop doesn't work which is odd but the Xbox one works with both. I'm about to think about redoing windows again.
3 it's a GTX 750 1GB card that and my specs are in my signature.
TV is a LG 1080p 120hz and it has worked before i may of connected to the TV before I got the mobo but the card has connected before.
Hope this helps

If you connect the TV to your laptop or PC, you should check under NVidia control panel wheter it detects a new display. Perhaps it's just not assigned to view something yet. If the same setup works with your Xbox One, switching the cable to your PC should work as well.

Nvidia has no such thing. laptop and pc doesn't work with my TV even tho it has worked before just using a different tv works though. Unplugging the dvi and putting in the hdmi doesn't work but both dvi ports work. I'll upload a pic in a minute I'm on my phone.

What I meant was this tab in Nvidia control panel

I'm sorry, mine is set to Dutch language. The tab should be translated to something like "Installing multiple monitors". In this case you can see I disabled 1 monitor (the Marrantz), because I don't always use it. Maybe your monitor has the same problem?

If you boot and can't see BIOS, try getting into the BIOS blindly, by spamming DEL or whatever yours needs. Sometimes it takes longer to get your monitor/tv out of sleep-mode and such. If no image is shown after around 10 seconds into BIOS, it's a problem. (Make sure the problem monitor is connected)

Great now I did something. I had nvidia and screen res up clicked on detect and now my screen is blank. I reset computer and the splash screen doesn't fit and it's starting up with Vista loading. I can go into safe mode just can't do anything resolution wise. But no I only saw my Dell monitor on that tab. Also bios and after the little vista thing it goes blank.

With new card the TV doesn't even detect it/ask to change inputs. Would a display to hdmi cord do the trick?

this looks like you got a new broken card, or the HDMI cable is broken. If you're sure every cable is connected, and have tried other cables, you could still try the HDMI output on other devices, such as your monitor. If it turns out there is no way any output comes from the HDMI output, just RMA the card

I'll try other tvs tonight. I still have the other card so I'm still able to use my pc and my monitor doesn't have hdmi. I would rma I just don't feel like waiting a month to get a new one back. At times I want to use hdmi so it's not a huge problem. But I have got my card called down a bit

i tried a plasma and lcd hdtvs with just hdmi plugged in and they both worked. also its not the cord because my xbox one when i had it both ports that i have cords in worked in 1080p so its something between my pc and this tv. my laptop does the same thing. so its not that card or cords. please reply when you can

So it's only when you connect your GPU to your TV.
GPU to other devices works
Other devices to TV works

You could re-install Windows clean and then install the newest drivers to see what that does. With clean you can rule out the cause at software

I've done that before and this is a clean install since last Friday. the tv asked to switch to the port the computer was on even though nothing happened

im going to try dual booting in win8.1 to see if win7 has issues if it works ill test my games before upgrading

update: Nope not even the win8 basic drivers couldnt even get the tv to work and still no bios and i believe that the bios would of came up on the other tvs. ive been hearing about driver issues but not even the driver that comes in the cd works with the tv

as long as you are using the HDMI on your GPU, the BIOS has not much to do with the problem. As long as you've set your GPU to primary display in your BIOS.

You could try an DP to HDMI. Just open the package carefully to send back if it doesn't work
