24gb of RAM only 8gb is available??? dafuq???

basically, when i designed my computer and had it built, i asked for 8Gb of RAM and last year i felt confident enough to open my build up and take a look (im not a very confident person lol) and i found 4x 6Gb sticks of HyperX RAM when i only wanted 8Gb, what threw me more was that my system states i only have 8gb available?

can anyone help me get my full 24Gb of RAM ??

It might say 3x2gb on them as the hyperx came in a 6gb kit and the kits were labeled with each stick saying that so whoever built it just 4 of them or something

i open up my case to see and 2 of my fans stop working on the case side i open up fantastic !

Ram sticks are important in gaming performance I work with servers so this is key but if you have multiple 2Gb of Ram you probably only get 8GB out of it.

It is kind of like a hard drive they say 2GB for flash drive then when you plug it in it says 1.70GB. Same rules apply really. Thats why the More storage like doing a 16GB kit 8x2 is much more expensive then 16GB kit 4x4

But that one significant kind of drop.

Lets see some pics then, because there are no 3GB stick. There is a 6GB kit from HyperX which has 3x2GB sticks, but that's about it. Why would some build you a PC you asked for 8GB and give you 24GB. Do you know how much RAM is?

No-one would mark RAM on a stick that way even if it happened to be a 6 gig stick, which it can't be because no-one makes 6 gig or 3 gig RAM sticks. When you buy a hamburger do you ask for two halves of a burger or just for one burger? So why would a maker mark a single sick or ram 2x3 gig intead of just 6 gig?

Take it out and read carefully what it states and post the brand and model # of the RAM.
