Is This a decent build so far? im most concerned about the motherboard. Also please suggest a good psu that would give me headroom for future upgrades. At the moment im considering getting the evga gtx 750 ti 2 gb superclocked. Thanks for all the help guys!

Imagine there's one and start by telling him to exchange that Corsair CX-500 with a better PSU like Seasonic or XFX also the motherboard isn't the best quality so he needs a Z97 motherboard for overclocking.

Well no matter what, that is a horrible deal. I'm recomending a EVGA which has okay capacitors but is an amazing value.
