I have been getting a lot of blue screen errors with a pc I recently made. I have windows 7 64 bit with the most up to date version. My pc specs are listed below:
PSU:Corsair RM750
Motherboard:Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H
Ram:16GB Corsair vengeance 1600mhz
CPU:i5-4670K (not overclocked)
GPU:GTX 780 3GB DDR5
HDD:1TB Western digital caviar black
CPU Cooler:H80i

I have no idea what the cause of the blue screens are, but even on a new installation of windows 7 it does the same thing. Please help!

Typically blue screens are a memory issue. You can try 1 of 3 things to find out:

1. You can run a program like memtest 86; here is a video to help you:

2. You can shut down your PC and pull 1 stick of memory out and see if the PC runs properly. If not, put the other stick in and try again.

3. You may have a bad memory slot, try moving RAM sticks to other colored set.

Solution
first off all go to safe mode and see if u are getting blue screen in safe mode or not ..........run memtest for ram see if there is any error ........run prime 95 for an hour for the cpu and furmark for 20 - 30 min for the gpu......see weather u get BSOD in any of this test .......

I don't think it is my ram because I ran prime 95 and did a memtest with no errors. I do suspect that it may be my harddrive though. This is because before my pc crashes it gives me a I/O error saying it cant access this program or something of the sort. This then leads me to a blue screen with the block of the program that has crashed for example c0X00000009.I don't have any spare hard drives to test this with though. let me now what you think.
