probably a dumb question, but only 1 of my headsets works in my audio in ports on my PC.

The 3 headphones in question:

1 - Works - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826106531 (Sennheiser HD 428 SC Closed Circumaural Hi-Fi Headphone, 4.5ft Single Sided Cord)

2 - Doesnt work - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA4SM1RK3082&cm_re=Sony_MDREX15LP%2fB-_-01Z-00N7-00035-_-Product (Sony Mdrex15lp/b Ex15lp In-ear Headphone (black))

3 - Doesnt work - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826193065 (Rosewill RHTS-11002 3.5mm Gold-Plated Connector Canal High Fidelity Passive Noise Isolating Rosewood Earbuds )

Thank you!

Yeah, sorry, ment to say audio out port. :x

When I put them in this pc, I can turn the plug around while its plugged in (poor explanation, sorry) and sometimes the audio will flicker in and out. Tried them on another PC, works, tried them on my asus tablet, they work.

try plugging them in to the headphone jack on the back of the pc instead of the front.

it sounds like you are getting a poor connection which could mean one of a few things...

-perhaps you are not seating the headphones all the way into the jack.

-perhaps the port is faulty and needs replacing

-perhaps the two headphone plugs are undersized a bit which causes a bad connection in a normal sized jack. or, perhaps the jack is oversized and so is the one headphone connector. it could also be that the springs inside the jack are worn out from constant plugging/unplugging resulting in a poor fit and intermittant sound.

my thoughts are that its an issue with the port on your computer.

This makes the most sense to me, as the one that was constantly unplugged/plugged in is the one that works very well. The thing is, the port in the back is RARELY used and it still has an issue. I was thinking of buying a cheap USB port audio adapter to try that out.
