Hello! Recently I have bought a 120mm fan (PFC1212DE) from Delta Electronics. It's not a secret that Delta fans are monsters (there's a reason why people call them them fingercutters...), but is it possible that this fan can be dangerous for my mobo because of how much electricity it uses? Is it safe to just plug it in? My mobo is GA-H87M-D3H by Gigabyte and power supply is Power Zone 750W by BeQuiet!

Solution
Yes, I think dangerous.
That fan says 4.8 amps. That is HUGE!
motherboard headers are typically 1 amp max.

You need to connect that beast directly to your psu.

Thanks, btw do you think Kaze Master II fan controller could handle this fan? Idk about the amps but the website says they support up to 9,900 RPM.
