OK so I have just built my first Gaming pc and everything works fine except for my power button on my case.

Parts in my computer:

motherboard: MSI Z97 gaming 7
cpu: Intel Core I5-4690K 3.5 GHz
gpu: MSi Twin frozer Geforce GTX 750 1GB
psu: NZXT HALE82 v2 550W
HDD: 2TB
SSD: 120GB
Computer Case: NZXT Guardian 921RB

Fortunately, my motherboard has an on button on it but im getting tired of opening the case and turning it on that way. Could you tell me whats wrong so i can fix it? Also did i get good parts for my computer?

Thanks

Solution
You have to plug the power switch connector correctly on your motherboard. Make sure it is connected correctly. It will have a postive and negative plug. If it is correct, the swtich should work, if not, the switch may be broken.

You either plugged in the on/off button to the mobo incorrectly or the power switch is just broken. double check your front header connections.

Pretty nice build. I would have gone for a cheaper mobo and better GPU but you can always upgrade that later.
